We offer individualized coaching programs for weight normalization. These programs are designed to help parents create the circumstances to end the cycle of dieting, overindulging and emotional pain. They are designed to help create desired weight normalization.

Parents and children can make many long-lasting changes with the help of a knowledgeable professional. Weight normalization coaching can be a productive way to assist in making weight normalization efforts effective.

How does coaching work?

Coaching is a process that is completely customized to the needs of the individual. Typically, the process of weight normalization coaching has four steps:

1. Assessment. The first step is to determine the needs you, or a family member, have relative to weight normalization. A comprehensive, confidential intake is conducted using a combination of interview questions and questionnaires. Mattie Mola has developed over 23 assessment tools that help target the areas to focus on in coaching for weight normalization.

2. Planning. The goal of weight normalization coaching is for parent or child to live a full life within a normal weight range for the individual. To that end we work together to identify and develop specific short-term goals that lead to weight normalization.

3. Action. Goals without actions designed to reach them can thwart weight normalization in even the most motivated individual. Action steps take place between sessions. Change occurs during and between coaching sessions. As a trained professional Mattie Mola works with you to create weekly goals and action steps for you to work on between each of your sessions. During the process, she holds you accountable for reaching your weekly goals. She helps you see clearly behaviors that require more practice to change. She helps you create other approaches that could be more supportive of weight normalization efforts.

4. Progress Review. On a regular basis you and Mattie assess the achievement of your weekly goals. As goals are met others can be added and the action plan adjusted as needed. This helps us to best meet your weight normalization goals.

Does it matter where I live?

Coaching is done over the telephone, so it does not matter where you live. Mattie Mola has clients across the United States and Canada.

How long does coaching last?

Participating in a coaching program for weight normalization requires a commitment in time and effort to determine your needs. It requires you to develop and practice behaviors in order for change to occur for at least 3 months. Coaching for weight normalization is not accomplished instantly. For this reason, we require a commitment of at least 3 months before agreeing to take on a new weight normalization client. The time for weight normalization varies widely. As it is dependent on health promoting weight normalization goals, the coaching could take from six to twelve months or longer in some cases. On average weight normalization takes nine months. Clients tell us that weight normalization coaching provides them with many benefits and is an invaluable investment. They tell us that the coaching helps them navigate many experiences that had undermined their weight normalization efforts in the past. See "Client Comments" in this section.

When Mattie Mola agrees to work with you as a client, she is available for you as indicated in the following plan description.

You can begin coaching sessions any week in the month. We only accept payments through our secure online server PayPal. We do not accept any other form of payment. Participating in a coaching program for weight normalization requires a commitment in time and effort to determine your needs. It requires you to develop and practice behaviors in order for change to occur for at least 3 months. Coaching for weight normalization is not accomplished instantly. For this reason, we require a commitment of at least 3 months before agreeing to take on a new weight normalization client. The full three month fee for the plan in which you enroll is paid through our secure online server upon enrollment.

Since weight normalization coaching for at least six months is most effective at creating significant, lasting change, we extend a 10% reduction in fees to those clients who enroll for six months or longer in any plan.

Is weight normalization coaching tax deductible?

Typically, weight normalization coaching is tax-deductible as a medical expense. Please check with your accountant.
